What's Up?

Just a little update to let you all know what's going on with DOCman. First of all, we are preparing the new version 1.4.0 RC, which will be released this week (if all goes well). This release concentrates on improvements for Joomla! 1.5, but has a bunch of other small improvements as well. I'll blog about those soon.

The call for translators a couple of weeks ago gave some good results: we now have over 15 official translations at http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/docman/frs/. If you have a translation that's not listed there, or you are interested in making one, don't hesitate to contact us. All help is welcome.

The new site for the DOCman project is experiencing some delays, due to availability of the people involved. We hope to get it done soon.

And finally some great news: Krisstoffer, better known as X-Ception, is writing a huge FAQ for DOCman. X-Ception is already well-known for his exceptional (no pun intended) work on the forums, where he's helping everyone whenever he can. The new FAQ will be available on the new forum. Welcome to the team X-Ception!
Even if you only feel like writing one item for the FAQ, the documentation or the tutorials, you are welcome to help! Contact us at support at joomlatools dot com.
